Dear Parents

It was lovely to see the rain over the weekend and to hear that our dams are slowly but surely recovering.

Remember to come along and support the marketing of our school at the Edgemead Shopping Centre this Saturday, 1st September, between 09h00 and 16h00. We would much appreciate your presence with us to help to talk to shoppers about the environment that our school offers. Pupils should wear their uniform.

Pupils are asked to decorate and wear their spring hats to school this Friday, 31st August and to enter the competition for R15.

Next Monday (3rd September) Will see the raffle draw, so please get those last tickets sold and send your form back to school by Friday.

TWILIGHT MARKET, Friday 21st September, 18h00 – 20h00, Abeille Ruche School playground
Excitement is building for the twilight market that will take place from 6 – 8 p m on 21st September. Please do make your family and friends aware of this event that will promote a holistic approach to education.

SPEECH & DRAMA EVENING, 26th & 27th September, Abeille Ruche open air theatre, 19h00
Our Tales of Narnia Speech & Drama evening will be held over two nights this year, right here on our own campus. The stage is ready, our pupils are practising and soon it will be time for them to showcase their efforts. Tickets are on sale at R30. Please send in your ticket order, also indicating which evening you would like to attend. Commemorative mugs will be on sale again this year – more details to follow.

Grade 7 – 9 pupils are hard at work, compiling their assessment presentations for the term. We eagerly anticipate seeing their creativity, as they summarise the learning they have done this term and present their findings to their teachers.

Their Maths term assessment will take place on 17th September.
