We are eagerly anticipating welcoming your children back for the final term of the year as school reopens tomorrow.
Due to the wonders of modern technology, this email comes to you from the south coast of Kwa-Zulu-Natal, where unforeseen family business has taken me. I shall, thus, be away for a few weeks, but leave our school in the capable hands of our management team.
Mrs Theresa Minne has joined our management team from this term and will be assisting me to fulfill the many functions that my role encompasses. Theresa can be contacted on email@example.com.

PARENT/TEACHER MEETINGS, 22nd – 25th October
Please arrange a mutually agreeable time to meet with your child’s teacher. For Grade 6 – 9 pupils, a roster will be available in the entrance to Utrecht House for parents to complete. It is important that all parents attend these meetings, the final ones for the year.
SPEECH & DRAMA EVENING, 25th October
Our ill-fated second night has moved again, at the request of our sound and lighting provider. I’m sure that it will be a perfect evening, with no more complications.
Grade 6 – 9 pupils will be writing their final exams in just over one month’s time. Grade 1 – 5 pupils will be assessed continuously during the course of the term.
We look forward to exhibiting our pupils’ beautiful artwork on 5th December. More details to follow.
Our prize giving evening will take place in two sessions in our open-air arena, commencing with the Foundation Phase (Grades 1 – 3) from 18h00 – 19h00, followed by the Grade 4 – 9 prize giving at 19h30. More details to follow.
Public schools officially close on 12th December, but we will close for pupils on 7th after Prize Giving. This will give us three days for staff development before our teachers go on leave.
